Looking to lower your split screen kombi and not effect the ride quality in the font? My flipped spindles drop your bus 3.5 inches by flipping the King Pincarrier. Sounds simple enough right? Well, not so fast.
My method: I press out the King Pin, carefully clearance the spindle using a die grinder enabling me to only take off as little metal as needed. From here I check for wear and replace rubbers and grease nipples and give them a shot of black. If King Pins are worn there's an additional charge but I'll communicate this with you. I also ream the tie rod end carrier to take the later Bay Window (12mm) tie rods ends. This allows for more clearance when lowering.
These are on an exchange program and will fit all years of bus from 1955-67 (Type 2).
